Childrens of Imam Zayd (a.s)

Thank you for your question! As to the children of Imam Zayd (as), they are listed as the following: Yahya, who was born from the mother Raa'ita bint Abi Haashim; Isa, Muhammad and al-Hussein--all of whom were born to the same mother, Umm Walad.

Imam Yahya bin Zayd (as) was born 96 AH. He continued the jihad of his father and was martyred at the age of 28. It is said that he saw the Prophet, salla Allahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam, in his dream who told him that he would be martyred. He is described as having very curly hair and a nice beard. He resembled his father in courage and strength of heart. Poetry and elegies were written for him.

Imam Isa bin Zayd (as) also led an unsuccessful rebellion against the Abbasids and was poisoned at the age of 45. He gave birth to the famous grandson of Imam Zayd named Ahmed bin Isa (as) who was a Zaydi authority on fiqh and hadith.

Imam al-Hussein bin Zayd (as) established his imamate after the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad bin Abdullah Nafs az-Zakiya (as). Imam al-Hussein (as) was a child when his father was martyred and was raised by Imam Ja'far as-Saadiq (as). He died in the year 140 AH.

None of the biographies of Imam Zayd (as) that I have mentioned that he had daughters. That doen't mean that he didn't. Its possible that the biographers didn't mention them.
