Question: What is the judgement regarding blood that exits the womb after the completion of forty days?
Fatwa:
Its judgement is the same as the judgement for the woman with vaginal bleeding. She refers to her normal number of days. If she bleeds for thirty days, then her bleeding is thirty days. Afterwards, she is considered pure.

Fatwa:
Yes. It is religiously obligatory for her to fast and pray after she is pure from lochia.
