السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
اللهم صل و سلم و بارك على محمد و على آله الطيبين الطاهرين

In Zaidiyyah there're some narrations pertaining 'amaliyah which has the same shared by another sects such as: tasbeh Fatimah (the difference with Sunni is prioritising of reciting الله اكبر instead of سبحان الله), or reciting Al-Kahfi and plus Du'aa Kumayl (if able to do it), or salah Raghaib (but with different name, perhaps), and many more.

However, what about Salah Kaffarah which some of Sunni received the narration that adhered to Imam 'Ali (رضوان الله عليه و سلم) chainned to Rasulullah ( صل الله عليه و على آله و سلم) [another chain came from Abubakr chain to Rasulullah], which performed like this:
"Narrated by Imam 'Ali and Abubakr from Rasulullah (صل الله عليه و على آله و سلم) Whoever in his/her life ever leave salat, but he/she cannot count the amount he/she had left, thus perform salah on Friday of the end of Ramadan amounting to 4 rak'ahs with 1 times tashahood (last tashahood without beginning tashahood), every rak'ah recited 1 time of Fatihah then 15 times of Surah Al-Qadar and 15 times of Surah Al-Kauthar."

Had 'Aimmah Az-Zaidiyyah such same report/narration and applied too?

Thanks for the answer.

Best regards / Bien cordialement.

Wa alaykum as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

I know of no such narration. In the case that a person does not know the number of prayers he/she has to make up, one is to pray a two-unit prayer, three-unit prayer and four-unit prayer. One then intends all the missed two-unit prayers when one prays the two-unit prayer. One intends all the three-unit prayers with the three-unit make-up prayer. One intends the missed four unit prayers with the four-unit make up prayer.

And Allah knows best!
