Permissibility of Shrimp and other Shellfish was created by Allahu Akbar

Are shrimp and other shellfish permissible in Zaydi fiqh? What are the specific rulings on which types of seafood are permissible?

wa alaykum as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

Thank you for your question! Prawns are halaal to eat. However, the criteria for other shellfish relates to whether its land animal equivalent can be eaten. Please refer to this link .
