Opening duas before the takbir was created by ummyasmin

Assalamu 'alaykum,

I have a question regarding the opening duas after making the intention and before making takbir.

If one is joining two prayers eg. maghrib and isha', does one renew the opening duas for the latter, or after praying maghrib, does one make an intention for isha' and go straight into the takbir?

wa alaykum as salaam wa rahmatullahi!

Thank you for your question! As for the joining of the prayers, one is to do in the joined prayers what one would normally do in the unjoined prayers. This would include the tawjeeh before the opening takbir.
