Is every scholar of independent judgment correct in his judgment?
The statement “Every scholar of independent judgment is correct” means that one that does his/her best in the issues of deduction is rewarded for this effort because that which was sought after is work not belief. Whoever was correct receives two rewards: one reward is for effort and the other reward is for correctness. Whoever was incorrect receives one reward for effort only. He is not rewarded for his error. (Allama Sharaf ad-Dîn an-Nu’mi)
