Fatwa: Forgetfulness from follower and imam

Question: If a person forgets something in his prayer and the imam forgets something, does he prostrate for his own forgetfulness or does he prostrate for his forgetfulness and the forgetfulness of the imam one time? What is your opinion on that?

Fatwa:

The strongest opinion according to us is that it is sufficient that he prostrates with the imam. However, later scholars from our companions say that he is to prostrate with the imam and then for himself. This view is weak according to us, and the derivation for the position is also weak.
