Wiping the face after dua

wa alaykum as salaam wa rahmaullahi wa barakuhu!

Thank you for your question! As for the wiping of the face, I wasn't able to find any reference to this practice except a narration in which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his progeny, is said to wipe his forehead after the prayer and then recite a dua.
