Dhikr

Than you for your question! According to the imams, the Ahl adh-Dhikr are the Ahl al-Bayt, the Prophet's Progeny. Imam al-Qaasim ar-Rassi, upon him be peace, said:

Allah makes following the scholars an obligation saying: {…ask the People of the Reminder if thou know not} (Q. 16:43; 21:7). Allah calls His Messenger ‘a Reminder’ in His saying: {Fear Allah, O those of understanding who have believed! Allah has sent down unto thee a Reminder, a Messenger} (Q. 65:10-11). The Chosen, Pure, and Knowledgeable People of His House are the ones whom Allah commands to ask.
