ASLAM O ALYKUM Brothers i hope u guys are fine

I wanted to ask a question as i am very confused these days i am from Pakistan and majority of muslims here follow Hanfi school of thought and all of the Masjids have Imams following hanfi school so i have to pray behind them ... As a student of zaidism i have read in many books that while praying salat al Magrib we have to recite Dua e Kunoot in the 2nd rakat of salat and hanfis do not recite it. My question is that what should i do when i am praying behind a hanfi imam because he will never recite kunoot in salat ? is there any other option for me ?

2nd Question is that if we are praying salat al asar or zohar do we have to recite any three verses from Quran in all 4 units of prayer ?? or its just enough to recite Al fatiha only in the last two units like hanafis ??

Looking forward to your reply JAZAK ALLAH...
wa alaykum as salaam wa rahmatullahi!

We pray that all is well with you and yours!

There seems to be some type of confusion as you said that the qunoot is recited in Maghrib. According to the Zaydiya, the qunoot is only recited in the Fajr and Witr prayers. If there is anything that you read that says that it is recited in Maghrib, please inform us of the source so that we can correct it.

In the case of praying Fajr with Hanafis who do not recite qunoot, it is perfectly fine. Neither the Hanafi imam or you have to recite the qunoot. However, if you are imam or pray Fajr alone, it is sunnah to recite qunoot. The absence of such mandates two prostrations of forgetfulness after the tasleem. However, if you pray behind an imam who does not recite qunoot, your prayer will still be valid and you do not owe any prostrations of forgetfulness.

As for your second question, the Fatiha and three ayats are recited only in the first two units. In the units after the first two, one is to recite tasbeeh (the dominant opinion) or al-Fatiha.

Hopefully, this clears up any misconceptions.

And Allah knows best!
