Wiping the ears was created by Hamdaan
Salam Alaikum is it wajib to Wipe the ears in just the Hadawi Madhab or is it Ijmaa of ahlul bayt that its fardh?

wa alaykum as salaam wa rahma!

Thank you for your question! According to Al-Bahr, there is disagreement amongst the imams as to whether wiping the ears is fard of sunnah.
