Salam Alaikum,
is there a consensus of Ahlul Bayt ( peace be upon them ) on the time of Maghrib and the time of breaking the fast?

wa alaykum as salaam wa rahma!
Thanks for your question! Regarding whether there is consensus of Ahl al-Bayt about the time for Maghrib, I would say yes and no. According to Al-Bahr, there is consensus regarding Maghrib taking place at sunset. However, it also says that Imam al-Haadi, upon him be peace, states that sunset is evident by the appearance of a star, and other imams, such as Imam Zayd, upon him be peace, state that sunset is evident by means of darkness.
I would say that one view doesn't necessarily preclude the other. That is to say that the appearance of a star can be considered an indicator of darkness.
And Allah knows best!
