Not saying Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥīm before wudu or ghusl

I don’t remember if I said it or not, is my ghusl and wudu valid?

as-salam alaikum,

akhil kareem, tasmiyya (saying the bismillah) is fard upon the one who is doing wudu. Whenever he remembers it while doing the wudu he has to say it.

If someone did the wudu and forgot to say the Tasmiyya, than the Wudu is still valid, for his forgetting is excused.

This is the position of the zaydiyya on that matter.
