Q : I am a student of knowledge, and my father follows the Twelver (Ithna'ashari) school of thought. He leads us in the Dawn (Fajr) prayer and recites the Qunut before bowing (ruku'). He argues with me that Imam Zain Al-Abidin recites it before bowing. Should I pray behind him?

A : If you are put in an awkward position, pray behind him and intend it as a singular prayer, recite for yourself, and follow him. Your prayer is valid, and there is no harm in the Qunut being before bowing. - Al-Allamah Muhammad Abdullah Awad Al-Muayyidi
