Fatwa : Killing a Haram couple

Q : A girl ran away from her father's house with her boyfriend and married him. Then her brother killed both her and her boyfriend. What is the ruling on this?

A : He must seek forgiveness (waiver of retaliation) from the guardians of the blood (the victims' families), ask God for forgiveness, and repent to Him. - Sayyid Muhammad Abdullah Awad
