Fatwa : Wearing a wig

Q : Is it permissible to wear or use a wig (artificial hair) at weddings for the purpose of adornment or otherwise?

A : Wearing a wig is apparent to be permissible, provided there is no deception, such as deceiving an imam, a preacher, or a prospective spouse.
