Fatwa : Husband Suckling wife

Q : What is the ruling on a man who suckles (breastfeeds) from his wife while she has milk in her breast? Secondly: What is the ruling on a man who suckles his wife’s breast when there is no milk in it? Please give us a clear answer without any ambiguity, may Allah protect you.

A : This is not forbidden (haram), and it does not establish the ruling of breastfeeding (i.e., it does not count as raḍā‘a that creates a mahram relationship).

ما هو حكم من رضع من زوجته وفي ثديها حليب وشربه؟
ثانياً: ما حكم من يرضع ثدي زوجته وليس فيه حليب؟
أفتونا حفظكم الله بجواب واضح ليس فيه إشكال
.الجواب:
ليس ذلك بحرام ولا يثبت به حكم الرضاع.
