Fatwa: Plucking the hair aftter ghusl

It’s best for the combing to take place before the ritual ablution due to the removal of dead hair and because of cleanliness. If the hair is plucked, it does not invalidate the ritual ablution. If it is plucked from the root, it is ritually impure because it is a part of something living. The problem that arises is whether it was plucked from its root or not. It is evident that it is not from the root unless there is certainty. One should be cautious to guard against plucking from the roots of the hair.
