Zaydis do believe in abrogation of Qur'anic verses; however, we say that a verse's hukm can either be abrogated from general to specific as in the case of inheritance left behind, or a hukm can be abrogated in terms of increase or decrease as in the case of the prayer units of the resident being from two to four. [Ref. Naasikh wal-Mansuukh].
