Demise of Fatima(RA)

Al salamu alaikum,

The first excerpt is from a distorted book which is spread among 12er And which is attributed to the Imam Al Hadi Ila al Haqq Yahya Ibn Al-Hussein alayhi salam. It’s not a narration. There is a book of the name tathbit al imamah which is printed and famous around zaydis but it is quite different from this version. The 12er are famous for distorting books so it is no surprise that in the beginning of the same book they claim to have it corrected and that this is the true version. They made this statement because they knew that It is different from the version which is in the hands of the Zaydiyya.

As for the second excerpt: it is an excerpt from a Sharh of one of our Imams on the Usul Al Khamsa of the Great Shaykh Al Qadi Abd Al Jabbar Al Mutazili rahimahullah. It is a book about Itiqad and this statement in particular is about a discussion on the Imamah and Shurah. For the Mutazila defended Shurah system and our Imam did respond to that. He was talking in a general way that it is known that the house of fatima was stormed (the word hajamuu doesn’t exactly mean violently it can mean forcefully and fiercely.) And the Ashab who where on the side of Ali alayhi salam were attacked.

It is important to understand that this statement by itself is no proof. It is not a narration. And there are diifferent riwayat about the exact things which happened in those times. The imam made the statement as an answer to the claim of the mutazila that there was an ijmaah on the shurah system and there was no opposition. He wanted to show that the Ashab we’re not unified on this question and the Banu Hashim and others on the side of Ali alayhi salam had Ikhtilaf with the Shaykhayn.

So in short none of this two excerpts is proving that Fatima was attacked because the first one is a lie on Imam Al Hadi alayhi salam and the second is a general statement which is not a proof.
