Tafsir of 4:34 and Interpretation/Application of Nushuz (نُشُوز)

Asalamu alaykum,

I apologize as it seems like I’ve used a confusing example. The lexical root ضرب can mean “to separate”, an example would be "ضرب في الأرض" which would translate to depart or go away. However, seeing that this definition struck you as odd, I’m assuming that such interpretation does not exist in Zaydi literature.
