Seeking Permission
Know that, in these days, people have indulged, neglected, and did not respect and follow the Islamic Law of asking permission. Now this Law became invalid and forgotten. However Allah, glorified and exalted be He, said: {O you who believe! Do not enter houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted those in them; that is better for you so that you may remember} till His saying: {...and if you are asked to go back, go back, for it is purer for you} (Q. 24:27-28).
It has two sides:
● Obligatory: in case of anyone entering except the husband and wife.
● Recommended: in case of any of the two spouses entering upon the other.
The child is forbidden of entering to the place where the spouses meet at the times of dawn, noon and night.
